2. Purchasing process
Shopping at ROOTS BAREFOOT is easy:

- Complete your shipping and billing details.
- Select the available payment method.

Once your order has been placed, you will receive a confirmation email with all the details of your purchase.
3. Prices and taxes
All prices shown on our website include VAT (where applicable) and are stated in euros (€).
For orders placed and shipped within the European Union, prices include the applicable VAT in accordance with the applicable tax regulations.
Shipping costs will be added to the final amount before checkout and will be clearly detailed during the payment process.
We currently ship exclusively within Europe. In these cases, no customs duties or additional import taxes will apply, as these are intra-Community transactions.
If we expand our shipping services beyond Europe, some orders may be subject to taxes or customs duties at the destination. These charges will be borne by the customer and paid to the relevant authorities.
4. Payment methods
We accept the following payment methods:

Payment must be made when confirming the order. Orders that have not been paid correctly will not be processed.
5. Shipping and delivery times
We ship throughout Europe.
Delivery times depend on the shipping destination and are indicated during the purchasing process and on our Shipping policy.
During promotional campaigns, periods of high demand, or holidays, delivery times may be affected.
6. Changes and returns
If you wish to make an exchange or return, please consult our Returns and exchanges policy, where you will find all the information necessary to manage the process.
7. Discounts, coupons, and promotions
- Promotions, discounts, and coupons cannot be combined, unless expressly stated otherwise.
- The welcome discount does not apply to purchases of product bundles, as these bundles already include a special offer. Therefore, discounts cannot be combined when purchasing bundles.
- If the welcome discount includes free shipping, it will be valid only for Mainland Spain. Shipping to the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands, and Europe is excluded.
- Welcome discount codes are exclusive to new subscribers to our newsletter.
These codes are sent automatically by email once the subscription has been completed. - Welcome codes are valid for a limited period, which will be stated in the email in which the code is sent.
- Each welcome code is personal and non-transferable and may be used only once per customer.
- ROOTS BAREFOOT S.L reserves the right to cancel any code or promotion in the event of misuse, suspected fraud, or non-compliance with the terms of use.
- Discounts and promotions may be subject to specific conditions, such as validity dates, available stock, or product categories.
8. Product availability
All orders are subject to product availability.
Despite our efforts to keep stock information updated in our online store, occasional inventory synchronization errors or discrepancies may occur. If a purchased product is unavailable due to these circumstances, we undertake to inform you as soon as possible.
In such a situation, we will offer you the following options, always in accordance with the applicable legislation on consumer and user protection:
- The option to wait for the product to be restocked, if this is expected.
- Replacement with a product of equivalent features and value, if you wish.
- A full refund of the amount paid, using the same payment method used for the purchase.
9. Liability
ROOTS BAREFOOT S.L will not be liable for delays or failures to perform resulting from force majeure or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as strikes, natural disasters, pandemics, or disruptions to the logistics supply chain.
10. Modification of the Conditions
ROOTS BAREFOOT S.L reserves the right to modify these Purchase Conditions at any time.
The modifications will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Purchase Conditions are governed by Spanish law.
In the event of a dispute, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of Madrid, unless consumer protection regulations provide otherwise.
13. Roots Care Range Guarantee Policy
(Applicable exclusively to Roots Care tools)
This policy exclusively governs the guarantees applicable to the Roots Care tools marketed by ROOTS BAREFOOT. These guarantees do not extend to any other products apart from these tools.
By purchasing and using these tools, the customer fully accepts the terms and conditions described herein.
13.1 100-Day Guarantee — Store Credit (Non-Refundable)
13.1.1 The 100-Day Guarantee allows the customer to request a full refund of the amount paid (less shipping costs) in the form of store credit, provided that the request is made within 100 calendar days of the order delivery date.
13.1.2 The refund will be issued exclusively as store credit.
Under no circumstances may the credit be converted, exchanged, or requested as a cash refund, bank transfer, refund to a card, cash, or any other monetary form, even if the customer states that they do not wish to purchase other products.
13.1.3 Store credit is granted only once per customer, regardless of the number of tools purchased in the past or in the future.
The customer may not use this warranty repeatedly, alternately, or consecutively with the intention of obtaining undue advantages, testing products without intending to use them, or creating purchase-return-purchase cycles.
13.1.4 To activate the warranty, the customer must contact ROOTS BAREFOOT through the official channels and follow the established procedure. The company may request additional information to verify identity and eligibility.
13.1.5 ROOTS BAREFOOT reserves the right to reject requests showing signs of abuse, fraud, improper use of the product, tampering, modifications, alterations, or any attempt to benefit dishonestly from this warranty.
13.2 Warranty of Use and Durability — Actual Defects in Roots Care Tools
13.2.1 Roots Care tools come with a warranty covering only manufacturing defects or material failures that prevent normal operation.
13.2.2 To assess the issue, the customer must attach clear, sharp photographs showing the alleged defect. ROOTS BAREFOOT will review the visual evidence and determine, with reason and final authority, whether the defect is:
- An actual material or manufacturing defect, or
- Damage resulting from handling, misuse, deliberate cutting, modification, normal wear, improper use, or any alteration incompatible with normal use of the product.
13.2.3 The warranty only covers defects that prevent or make it impossible to use the tool correctly.
The following will not be considered covered defects:
- Superficial marks that do not affect functionality.
- Damage caused by cuts, tears, excessive stretching, exposure to heat, chemicals, or agents that damage the material.
- Breakages that, according to the technical assessment, are consistent with external or intentional handling.
- Wear resulting from normal use of the product.
13.2.4 If ROOTS BAREFOOT determines that the defect is legitimate, the tool will be replaced at no cost to the customer. The replacement will be the same model or, if unavailable, an equivalent model.
13.2.5 ROOTS BAREFOOT may request additional photographs, videos, or the return of the defective product to complete its evaluation. The customer's refusal to provide such information may result in the warranty being voided.
13.2.6 The final decision regarding the existence or non-existence of a covered defect shall rest exclusively with ROOTS BAREFOOT after evaluating the submitted evidence.
13.3 General Exclusions
The following are excluded from any warranty:
- Damage caused by improper, negligent, or contrary-to-instructions use.
- Tampering, modifications, deliberate cuts, or alterations made by the user.
- Products exposed to extreme or unrecommended conditions.
- Damage caused by accidents, falls, crushing, or external factors.
- Exchanges for aesthetic reasons that do not affect functionality.
- Requests showing signs of fraud, abuse, suspicious activity, or repeated use of the warranty for an illegitimate purpose.
13.4 Limitation of Warranty Applicability
13.4.1. The warranties set out here apply exclusively to Roots Care tools.
Under no circumstances do they apply to footwear, textiles, accessories, or any other product sold by ROOTS BAREFOOT.
13.4.2. ROOTS BAREFOOT reserves the right to modify, suspend, or update this policy at any time, without affecting previously approved requests.
13.5 Acceptance
Purchasing and using Roots Care tools constitutes full acceptance of this warranty policy.
Any attempt at fraud, tampering, or abuse may result in the cancellation of the warranty and, where applicable, the preventive blocking of the customer from making future requests.
14. Summary of the exchange and returns policy

Refunds:
They are always based on the amount paid, not the original price.
If a discount or promotion was applied, only the amount paid by the customer will be refunded. -
Errors or defects:
- If the product arrives defective or incorrect and unused → ROOTS covers everything and offers an exchange or refund.
- If the defect appears after use (under warranty) → the product will be replaced at no cost, but the money will not be refunded.

Non-returnable products (hygiene):
Exchanges or returns are not accepted for unsealed products that have been in contact with the skin (as required by law), such as:- ROOTS CARE range (toe separators, spacers, etc.)
- Socks
- Insoles

Used products:
Returns are not accepted for items showing use beyond a basic try-on. -
Clearance items or final sizes:
- Refunds are not issued to the original payment method.
- Size exchanges are allowed if stock is available.
- If there is no stock → refund in store credit (no expiration).
- This information will be displayed clearly and visibly on the website.

General condition:
Products must be returned in perfect condition, unused, and in their original packaging. Otherwise, the refund will not be issued.
