Size Guide - ROOTS LIVANA

IMPORTANT INFORMATION.

It is important not to focus on the usual numerical shoe size you wear (e.g., size 38) but on the centimeters your feet measure (24.2 cm). Below we explain how to measure your feet correctly.

  • It is very important to measure the foot as thoroughly as possible to get the right size.
  • Measure your foot from the heel to the longest toe. It does not have to be the big toe.
  • It is important to measure the length of both feet.
  • Take the measurement while standing.
  • Pay close attention to the size guide for each model, as they vary.
  • You must find in the size guide the size that best fits your foot by adding the recommended margin.

📏 About the length of the LIVANA model

The shoe should NOT fit tightly; there must be an adequate margin between the foot and the shoe so your foot can expand and contract freely. For this model, we recommend leaving a foot margin between 0.6 cm and 1 cm for narrow/normal feet, and up to 1.2 cm for very wide feet.

📏 About the width of the LIVANA model

The Livana model is made of Flyknit fabric, a soft, stretchy, and adaptable material that easily molds to the shape of your foot. Thanks to this design, the shoe does not impose a rigid structure on your toes or the width of your foot, but rather expands and adapts, offering comfort to both narrower and wider feet.

👉 Why do we offer a range of widths in our size guide?
Because the Flyknit fabric allows for tolerance in width measurement. Therefore, if your foot is within or near the indicated range, it is very likely that the shoe will fit well to your natural shape without causing pressure or restrictions.

👉 What if your foot is wider than the maximum indicated range?
In many cases, yes, it could still fit thanks to the material’s elasticity, especially if there are no sensitive areas (such as prominent bunions or discomfort on the side of the foot). If you have doubts, write to us and we will be happy to help you confirm the ideal size.

What is my size?

  1. Place your foot on a sheet of paper on a flat, smooth surface. Place the paper and heel against the wall. Use a pencil to mark the farthest point of the foot (it does not have to be the big toe). Measure both feet.
  2. Measure the distance between the bottom edge of the paper and the pencil line. This will be the actual length of your foot.
  3. You can also trace the outline of your foot on a sheet of paper.
  4. We recommend choosing the shoe that allows a margin of between 0.5 cm and 0.7 cm more than the length of your foot. Remember that the length shown in the chart is the inside measurement of the shoe.
  5. If you are unsure between sizes, you can buy two pairs and then return the one that does not fit.
