Size Guide - ROOTS EXPLORER
To choose the right size, it is important to base your measurement on the length of your feet in centimeters (for example, 24.2 cm) rather than the conventional numerical size (size 38).
Make sure to measure your feet accurately to find the correct size:
- Measure each foot from the heel to the longest toe.
- Take the measurement while standing.
- The measurement in the attached table reflects the length of the shoe's insole.
For an optimal fit of these shoes, we recommend leaving an additional margin of 0.6 to 1 cm on top of your foot measurement. This margin must take into account the width of your foot and, above all, the thickness of the socks with which they are going to be used.
2. What is my size?
To measure your foot correctly:
- Place a sheet of paper on a flat surface, next to a wall.
- Place your foot on the paper with your heel touching the wall (as if the wall were a shoe, do not press your foot against it).
- Use a pencil to mark the furthest point on your foot (not necessarily the big toe). Measure both feet, paying special attention to the longest one, and measure with your feet up and wearing the type of sock you plan to wear with these shoes.
- Measure the distance from the bottom edge of the paper to the mark you made. This will be the actual length of your foot.

We recommend choosing a shoe that leaves an extra margin of between 0.6 and 1 cm over the length of your foot. Remember that the measurements in the table correspond to the length of the shoe's insole.
3. IMPORTANT
- If you are between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size.
- If the difference in length between your feet exceeds 0.5 cm, or if the distance between your big toe and second toe is greater than this value, it can be difficult to find an optimal fit.
- If your usual shoe size differs by more than two sizes from the one obtained in our tables, there may be an error in the measurement.

RAIN-SAFE ® technology combines recycled materials

The Explorer's outsole features an optimised anti-slip lug pattern to provide traction on uneven terrain. Its unique drainage pattern allows water to be evacuated quickly, reducing the risk of slipping even in wet conditions. In addition, the sole is reinforced in key areas, providing additional protection in areas of potential impact. The flexible sole allows the foot to adapt to the terrain without compromising contact with the ground, providing a safe, stable and natural experience.
