Where is my order?

When we ship an order, we automatically send an email with all the shipping information, including a package tracking number. You can use this to track your order.

What is the return and exchange policy?

1. SHIPPING CONDITIONS

1.1 Receiving the order

You can receive our orders at the address you choose (home, workplace, post office, mailbox, etc.). We do not guarantee that deliveries will be made directly to the recipient when making deliveries to educational centres, hospitals, public bodies and other buildings where there are restrictions on access to the general public. The order will be fulfilled and liability will be released when the order has been made available to the recipient at the reception or place that acts as access control.

Please enter the delivery address as complete as possible. If your delivery address is difficult to find or access, choose the address of a family member, friend or trusted person who can receive your shipment.

If the address provided by the customer is incorrect or incomplete and the order cannot be delivered, it will be returned to our warehouse. In this case, the customer will have to bear the additional shipping costs for reshipment.

1.2 Delivery times

At Roots Barefoot we strive to meet the delivery times we offer as far as possible. However, it is important to note that these times are merely informative and are not binding or contractual. Occasionally, factors beyond our control may arise that affect the delivery of orders, such as breakages or damage during transport, lost packages, local holidays, absences at home at the time of delivery, among others.

Processing Time:
Processing time refers to the period of time we need to prepare your order once we receive it. This includes checking the products, packaging and preparing for shipping. This process, under normal conditions, takes place within 24 hours from confirmation of your purchase.

During times of high demand, such as promotions or special releases, this processing time may be extended due to order volume.

Orders placed on Friday after 4pm, and on Saturday and Sunday are prepared on Monday/Tuesday of the following week.

Shipping Time:
Once the order has been processed and prepared in our warehouses, it is handed over to the carrier, who is responsible for its delivery within an estimated time of 24 to 48 hours . We strive to meet this estimated time, although please remember that, once the order is in the hands of the carrier, we have no control over the exact delivery times nor are we responsible for possible delays in its final delivery.

Pre-order orders: All pre-order orders (along with the products they contain) will be shipped when the pre-order ends. All pre-order information will be visible on the website. If you wish to receive part of a pre-order, you will be charged the corresponding shipping costs.

BLACK FRIDAY, CHRISTMAS AND SALES SEASON: order preparation and shipping times may be subject to changes due to the high volume of orders handled during these days. In our own warehouse, order preparation times may be extended and logistics companies may experience delays in deliveries.

Balearic Islands

Canary Islands

  • Standard (2 to 5 business days): €16.00 . The transit time of this shipment is subject to customs clearance, so in the event of inspections, stoppages or delays, ROOTS Barefoot is not responsible for failure to comply with these delivery times.

PORTUGAL:

  • Express Shipping (home delivery within 48-72 business hours): €5

EUROPE:

  • International Express Shipping (home delivery in 3-6 business days): €12

Free shipping to all of mainland Spain for orders over €79.90.

*In the case of free shipping promotions, they will only be applied to shipments made within the Peninsula. Shipments to the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands and the rest of Europe are excluded from these promotions.

1.4 Reshipment and return policy due to Customer Absence

If the customer is not available during the three delivery attempts made by our transport companies (TIPSA, CTT, Correos, GLS), the package will be held at the corresponding branch for a period of 10 days so that the customer can collect it (in the case of TIPSA). If the package is not collected within this period, it will be returned to our warehouse. If the customer claims the package after its return, he/she may choose to have it resent, assuming the costs of the new shipment, or to have the amount paid refunded, minus the shipping costs and other costs related to the management of the package, within the following 30 days after placing the order.

1.5 Shipping Address Changes and Additional Costs.


In the event that the customer does not notify a change of address before the shipment of an order, and the order has to be redirected or rerouted due to a failed delivery, the additional costs generated by the courier company must be borne by the customer. These costs include the return of the package to our warehouses and its subsequent reshipment to the corrected address, with an amount of 4.20 for each additional shipment that must be made.

1.6 Shipments to the Canary Islands and Customs Requirements.


In order to ship to the Canary Islands, it is essential that the customer provides their ID at the time of purchase or upon our request. If the customer does not provide this information and the package is held in customs, the shipment cannot be completed. In the event that the customer does not respond and the order is returned to our warehouses, all costs associated with the return and customs management must be covered by the customer. The amount of the order will be refunded minus the costs associated with the shipping and return of the package (which will depend on the weight and volume of the order).

    How can I process a size change or return?

    Our returns policy is governed by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, which approves the revised text of the General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users, as well as by Law 7/1996 on the Regulation of Retail Trade, amended by Law 47/2002 to adapt it to European Directive 97/7/EC.

    The return or exchange period is 14 calendar days after receipt of the order.

    It is essential that you return the product to us unused, in its original packaging and send it to us in a shipping bag or box . If we see signs of use or the product is damaged due to inappropriate packaging, we will not be able to accept the return.

    If you want to make a return remember that:

    How to proceed with the return?
    • The refund will be made through the REVENI platform.
    • On this platform you will have to enter your order number and your email address. Here you can choose which product you want to return.
    How do I send you the refund?
    • When you request a return, a return label or QR code will be sent to your email.
    • Take the package to the office that best suits you (Depending on the logistics provider indicated on the label).
    • You do not need to print this label, just showing the barcode or QR code at the counter is enough.

    SIZE CHANGES

    How to make a size change?

    The change will be managed through the REVENI platform:

    • The change will be made through the REVENI platform.
    • On this platform you will have to enter your order number and your email address. Here you can choose which product you want to exchange and choose the new size. Remember that you can exchange it for another product or another color.
    • Wrap the box in a shipping bag to protect it from damage during shipping (do not stick labels on the box).
    • Take the package to a nearby Correos, GLS or CTT point, depending on your preferences.
    • Just show the return label that you received in the email, you do not need to print it.
    • Once you deliver the package to the logistics office, we will take care of sending you the new item (you don't need to wait for it to arrive at the warehouse!).

    Can the delivery address be changed?

    Yes, but it is important that if you notice an error, you notify us as soon as possible. If the order has already been sent, we can only modify the street, floor, or door number, not the street or postal code or province.

    How long does it take to receive a refund after returning a product?

    How to transition to barefoot shoes

    To transition to barefoot shoes, start gradually. Wear your barefoot shoes for short periods of time at first, allowing your feet to adapt. Progressively increase the amount of time you wear them to strengthen your muscles. Maintain a natural posture and pay attention to your gait. Listen to your body and if you feel any discomfort, reduce the amount of time you wear them.

    Inside each shoe you will find a link that says "What is my size?". This link will guide you to correctly measure your foot and choose the correct size based on the shoe you want.

    Remember that for barefoot shoes to make sense you have to at least give an extra margin of plus or minus 0.7cm to the length of your foot.

    Can barefoot shoes be washed in the washing machine?

    The FREEDOM MODEL is recommended to be hand washed. Soak or immerse the shoes in warm or cold water with a mild detergent or neutral soap. Use a brush to scrub away dirt. You can remove the laces and soak them or put them in the washing machine. Scrub the entire surface of the mesh. To clean the sole you can use a stronger brush. Once you have cleaned them, place the shoes in a cool, ventilated place to air dry. Avoid leaving them in the sun or near heat sources, such as radiators, as this can affect the shape and integrity of the materials.

    For the FREEDOM, it is advisable to clean the insole by hand, not in the washing machine, to avoid discoloration.

    They can also be washed in the washing machine, but some parts of the shoe structure may come loose or become deformed.

    FOR THE URBAN MODEL , it is not recommended to put them in the washing machine. Use a clean, soft cloth or a soft brush to remove dirt from the surface.
    Do not use aggressive cleaning products.
    Once the dirt and debris have been removed, wipe the shoes with a clean, damp cloth to remove any remaining cleaning product.
    Allow shoes to air dry completely in a cool, well-ventilated area. Do not expose shoes to direct sunlight or heat.
    If your shoes are very dirty, you may need to deep clean them with a specialized microfiber cleaner.
    Follow the instructions on the cleanser carefully and test it on an inconspicuous area first to make sure it won't damage your skin.

    How long a day can I use the separators? And the aligners?

    You can wear toe separators and spacers all day long, depending on your comfort. However, it is advisable to start with short intervals and gradually increase. From our experience, if you wear traditional footwear at first, your feet will not last more than a few minutes. With time and progressive adaptation you will be able to wear them for hours without remembering them.

    Which separator best suits my lifestyle?

    In reality, both types can work well for you, it just depends on when you want to use them.

    • Toe separators: They provide greater separation between your fingers, which will give you greater balance. They are more flexible, allowing for more natural movement. They are completely attached to the foot, so during dynamic sports activities such as walking, running or training, you won't even know you're wearing them!
    • Finger spacers : The space between the fingers is smaller, which means you can wear it for longer without noticing. In addition, they do not squeeze the fingers, which makes them more comfortable for long periods of time. The material is harder, this makes them tremendously durable.

    Our personal recommendation would be to use the spacers during your work day since you will not notice that you are wearing them and combine them with separators during more specific moments such as sports, stretching, training in the gym, etc. These separators provide many benefits in activities of this type.

    What modifications can I make to the toe spacers?

    How long is it necessary to use the decontracting ball?

    To obtain the benefits of the decontracting ball, it is recommended to use it for 5 to 10 minutes daily. This time is enough to massage and relax your feet, improve circulation and relieve accumulated tension. Remember to listen to your body and adjust the duration according to your comfort and needs.

    We recommend starting sitting. As our feet get used to the sensations, we can continue supporting our body on a table so that we can exert more pressure on the foot without dropping all of our body weight. Over time you will be able to stand on the ball without feeling any type of pain, it is the magic of the adaptation of our feet.

    Is it better to wear 5-finger or normal socks?

    It is preferable to wear toe socks instead of regular socks when wearing barefoot shoes. Toe socks allow the toes to expand naturally, promoting a more natural and balanced stride. Normal socks tend to compress the toes due to the elastic, which goes against the comfort and benefits of barefoot.

    Does it make sense to sleep with dividers?

    No. The best way to obtain all the benefits of separators is if they are used while moving, practicing sports activities such as training, running, practicing CrossFit, but also walking. It is at these moments when the foot muscles are activated. If you put them on statically, your foot will return to its shape as soon as you take them off.

    MINIMAL ROOTS

    What is my size?

    These shoes should be tight (although not tight).
    It is not necessary to make much difference between the size of the foot and the inside of the minimal shoes.

    How much margin do I need to leave in this type of footwear?

    These shoes should be snug (but not tight). It is not necessary to make much difference between the measurement of the foot and the inside of the minimal.

    Can they be worn with socks?

    No problem. But ideally they should be 5-finger socks to make the most of the freedom that this footwear gives you.

    Can they be used with toe separators?

    How can I wash them?

    • Fill a container with cold or warm water, no higher than 45ºC.
