Size Guide - ROOTS MOCAFLIP

IMPORTANT INFORMATION.

It is important not to focus on the conventional shoe size you usually wear (e.g., size 38) but on the cm measurement of your feet (24.2cm). Below we explain how to measure your feet correctly.

  • It is very important to measure the foot as thoroughly as possible to get the right size.
  • Measure your foot from the heel to the longest toe. It does not have to be the big toe. It is important to measure the length of both feet.
  • Take the measurement while standing.
  • Pay close attention to the size guide for each model, as they vary.
  • You need to find in the size guide the size that best fits your foot by adding the recommended margin.

📏 About the length of the MOCAFLIP model

The footwear should NOT fit tightly; there must be an appropriate margin between the foot and the shoe so your foot can expand and contract freely. In this model, we recommend leaving a foot margin of between 0.7cm and 1cm for narrow/normal feet, and up to 1.3cm for wide feet.

If you are going to wear them with socks (which is very likely) these can affect the length of your feet. Keep this in mind.

📏About the width of the MOCAFLIP model

The Moccaflip is a closed shoe made with soft fabrics that adapt well to the foot. Although the size guide indicates the interior measurements, not the insole, when worn it may feel a bit wider thanks to the flexibility and softness of the materials.

What is my size?

  1. Place your foot on the paper on a flat, smooth surface. Position the paper and your heel against the wall. Use a pencil to mark the farthest point of your foot (it doesn’t have to be the big toe). Measure both feet.
  2. Measure the distance between the bottom edge of the paper and the line drawn with the pencil. This will be the actual length of your foot.
  3. You can also trace the outline of your foot on a sheet of paper.
  4. We recommend that you choose a size that allows for a margin of between 0.7cm and 1.3cm longer than the length of your foot. Remember that the length shown in the chart is the measurement of the inside of the shoe.
  5. If you are unsure about sizes, you can buy two pairs and then return the one that doesn't fit.
